Banksia Trio / バンクシア・トリオ(須川崇志, 林正樹, 石若駿)

須川崇志が林正樹、石若駿を誘い、ジャズトリオを結成。同年8月8日に最初のライブを都内の老舗ジャズクラブ「Body and Soul」で開催。2020年1月、岡本太郎記念館の館長でもある平野暁臣がプロデュースするジャズレーベルDays of Delightより1stアルバム『Time Remembered』をリリース。高評価を得る。翌年2月18日に、同レーベルより2ndアルバム『Ancient Blue』を発表。また、スタジオレコーディングサポートも多数行っている。Banksia Trioの持ち味である柔軟で幅広い音楽性と強力なグルーヴを生かした演奏で好評を得る。 バンド名の由来はオーストラリア原産のヤマモガシ科の花。燃えることによってのみ種子が播かれるという、その風変わりな繁殖戦略に魅力を感じて命名された。 ... more
